About the Organization

Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership (OMEP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting Oregon manufacturers to the tools they need to succeed. Their vision was to become Oregon’s first choice for manufacturing advancement.

OMEP had earned a strong reputation for their hands-on consulting work, but they needed a more cohesive marketing strategy to expand their reach, strengthen their brand, and build a larger ecosystem of support for manufacturers. I began by reimagining OMEP’s website to better reflect their expertise, programs, and the breadth of their impact. The new site architecture made it easier for manufacturers to find the services and resources they needed, while the copy brought warmth and clarity to a subject matter that could otherwise feel technical or overwhelming.

EVENT MARKETING

To help OMEP build deeper connections across the manufacturing community, we collaborated with them to launch their first-ever statewide summit — an event designed to bring manufacturers, partners, and resource providers together for learning, networking, and collaboration. I supported not only with strategizing the event itself, but also promoting it via a custom landing page and email invitations.

The result? That first summit planted the seed for what is now a thriving annual tradition, with 10+ years of ongoing impact.

Recognizing that manufacturers often didn’t know where to turn for different types of support, I also concepted the “Manufacturers' Resource Map” — a visual guide positioning OMEP at the center of a broader network of partners, organizations, and resources.

This strategic tool helped clarify OMEP’s role as the hub of the manufacturing support ecosystem, making it easier for clients to get connected to the right help at the right time.

Get exclusive access to helpful tools, training, programs, and support — and connect to the organizations to that can make your firm most successful.

To maintain ongoing engagement and provide even more value to their network, we helped OMEP develop and launch The Value Stream, a monthly email newsletter.

The newsletter delivered curated content, upcoming events, grant opportunities, and partner updates — positioning OMEP not just as a consultant, but as an indispensable resource for ongoing learning and growth in the manufacturing community.
