About the Company
A century-old resort — known for championship golf, world-class accommodations, and Southern hospitality — wanted to elevate its online presence. They knew their blog could be a powerful tool to attract new guests, nurture returning visitors, and strengthen their brand as a destination in itself.
A golf course worth visiting.
A blog that was not.
Although the resort’s brand was beloved offline, their blog wasn’t delivering meaningful traffic or engagement online. They had access to SEO research but no clear content plan to bring it to life. They needed a strategy that would transform keyword data into rich, brand-aligned storytelling — helping their blog shift from an afterthought to a true growth channel.
Bringing storytelling to the fairway
Using the SEO keyword research as a foundation, I developed a 12-month editorial strategy that married search intent with brand storytelling. This included strategic content pillars, keyword recommendations, blog structure guidance, and a content calendar tailored to seasonal events and search trends. Each recommended article topic connected back to high-value keywords — but was crafted to sound inviting, authentic, and unmistakably on-brand.
The result: a blog content calendar designed to drive traffic, reinforce the resort’s storied legacy, and guide readers naturally toward booking.
