About the Business

Con-Vey designs and builds advanced automation systems for manufacturers across North America, with deep roots in the wood products industry.

Con-Vey’s website redesign was part of a broader rebrand, modernizing the company’s presence while honoring its decades-long legacy. I joined the project once the brand direction and page structure were in place, with a focus on content development and voice.

Working closely with strategy and design, I helped shape a tone that felt both technical and approachable — grounding Con-Vey’s engineering expertise in language that was clear, confident, and human. From product descriptions to service pages, I translated highly specialized capabilities into messaging that connected with buyers and built trust across industries.

WEBSITE CONTENT

As part of the rebrand, I also helped to refine their internal messaging — including contextualizing a new mission statement and updated company values.

My goal was to reflect both who they are and how they work: pragmatic, relationship-driven, and committed to long-term impact. We moved away from generic platitudes and toward language that felt grounded, specific, and reflective of Con-Vey’s voice — values you could see in action on the shop floor, not just printed on a wall.

MISSION & VALUES

To complement the core site content, I also developed a series of case studies spotlighting Con-Vey’s long-term client partnerships and engineering problem-solving. My approach was narrative-first: each story begins with a challenge, walks through Con-Vey’s custom solution, and highlights the long-term impact for the client.

I worked closely with the internal team to identify story angles, surface differentiators, and write copy that positioned Con-Vey as both a builder and a strategic partner. These case studies served not only as proof of performance but also as a window into how Con-Vey thinks — adaptable, collaborative, and invested in their clients’ success.
